Man shot and killed by cops after alleged “air fresheners in the mirror” offense!
So he claimed he was being pulled over due to having a “Air Freshener” in the mirror hanging. At least this is what his white mother is saying. Why do I say “white mother” cause race was put into this from the start when the report went out that “A BLACK MAN SHOT and KILLED by COPS!” Which is very deceiving because he was not a “black man”not with a “white mother” sorry at best he’s a mulatto or half black and half white. Again this is “Science” and to be honest he’s lighter skin than most “White guys” I know… But this kid was only a 20 year old and yet had a lot of life to live, and now Daunte Wright is dead fatally shot by Brooklyn Center police on Sunday (April 11) afternoon, which prompted more racial protests at the scene.
Like we needed more reason to have “race” issues in the country right now right?
And in all places for this crap to happen in Minnesota of all places! But Daunte was stopped by police during a traffic stop. According to ABC News, the young man was shot after getting back into his car and trying to drive away from the scene. Daunte would later crash his car into another vehicle a few blocks away, and be pronounced died shortly after.

News reporter Chris Hrapsky for Kare 11, which is a news outlet in Minneapolis, said that Daunte’s mother, Katie Wright, again a white woman, revealed to the press exactly why her son was pulled over according to her phone call before he was fatally shot. “The mother of Daunte Wright says the 20-year-old called her when he was pulled over by Brooklyn Center police about 1:40 p.m,” the journalist tweeted hours after the incident. She claims “He told her police pulled him over for air fresheners hanging in the mirror, she told reporters.” News would add that cops later learned that Daunte allegedly had an outstanding warrant.
Angered by the 20-year-old’s life that was taken by cops, a protest soon broke out at the scene with hundreds of protesters demanding justice for the death that many deemed wasn’t necessary. Brooklyn Center police would respond by showing up to the protest in riot gear. Brookyn Center is about nine miles away from Minneapolis, where Derek Chauvin’s trial for the murder of George Floyd is currently taking place.

“The officer shooting in Brooklyn Center today is tragic. We are asking the protesters to continue to be peaceful and that peaceful protesters are not dealt with force,” Brooklyn Center Mayor Mike Elliott later said on Twitter.
Katie would also admit that she heard a cop tell Daunte to “put the phone down and get out of the car” before he was shot. After he hung up, his girlfriend, who was in the passenger seat of the car, would soon call her crying and showing Daunte’s lifeless body in the driver’s seat.
