Chuck Schumer knew it was all over after this huge impeachment defeat Democrats are gearing up for the final showdown in their impeachment witch hunt. But they just got hit with some bad news.

And Chuck Schumer knew it was all over after his party suffered this huge impeachment defeat. Four Democrats who will sit in judgment of Donald Trump in a Senate impeachment trial – Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Michael Bennett – are still running for President.

This calls into question their ability to fairly decide the evidence in front of them. Tennessee Republican Marsha Blackburn made waves when the freshman Senator sent out a statement demanding they recuse themselves from the impeachment trial.

“Tomorrow, one hundred United States Senators will be sworn in to serve in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump. Four of those Senators must recuse themselves for their unparalleled political interest in seeing this President removed from office,” Senator Blackburn began.

Democrats have claimed Republicans who stated their intention to acquit the President violated their oath to seek “impartial justice.” But Blackburn turned the tables on Democrats by pointing out the clear conflict of interest of the four Senators seeking the Democratic Presidential nomination.

“These Democrats, Senators Bennet, Klobuchar, Sanders, and Warren, cannot sit in judgment of the very President they seek to replace. To participate in this trial would be a failure of the oath they took to be an ‘impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws’. Their presidential ambitions prohibit their ability to view this trial through an objective lens,” Senator Blackburn concluded.

If these four Senators recuse themselves, then the Democrats lose four “yes” votes and would now need 24 Republican Senators to break ranks instead of 20. So what will happen is Blackburn’s demand will keep the spotlight on the partisan nature of the Democrats impeachment hoax. The more the American people realize this is a BIG SCAM just to try and overthrow a duly elected President so the Democrats can win the next election, the bigger the political payoff for President Trump in 2020.
